THE ETIOCA TAXI: New working electric taxi prototype unveiled.

The first working prototype of an ETIOCA TAXI has been unveiled as the company behind the new electric cab continues its drive towards the future of mobility.
The ETIOCA project drives sustainable mobility by responding to the needs of citizens and city administrations who want to control emissions, encouraging the use of comfortable means of transport that can keep citizens from using their cars for short- and medium-haul journeys. And it has the support of a new generation of taxi drivers who will no longer need to buy their own vehicle.
The electric vehicle is given for use by ETIOCA to the licensed driver, who does not buy the vehicle, but pays for the usage of the taxi, with a cost per kilometer fare.

The business model developed by the management of ETIOCA is centered around financial services and technologies, supporting each specific mobility project.
ETIOCA TAXI presents a number of cutting-edge features and offers an all-electric mobility experience with high-quality, high-tech elements.
Its designers say the taxi is a comfortable vehicle, easy to access, and free of architectural barriers. It features 7 seats, plus one for disabled passengers who can get onboard without the need of assistance, thanks to an automatic lifting platform. ETIOCA allows easy transportation of bulky leisure items such as bicycles.
Many other features are available on board, such as digital screens to manage the available services, a payment terminal, a taxi shop, a minibar, chargers for all types of smartphones, and an online route map.
The isolated driver cabin is fully equipped and guarantees safety and protection. Prompt assistance is provided for cleaning and recharging the vehicle through rapid battery change (battery swap) at dedicated stations.
Based on the lessons learnt during the pandemic, each vehicle will be sanitized automatically when all passengers have left the cabin, using a system combining ultraviolet light and a disinfectant nebulizer.
Dynamic advertising panels with ETIOCA LED technology are positioned on the sides and on top of the vehicle.
All transactions are handled through the ETIOCA Fintech system, which integrates a proprietary cryptocurrency and supports international bank transfers, financial loans, payments to and from customers and business partners. The use of a proprietary cryptocurrency guarantees the transparency of transactions and aims at increasing stability and avoiding any kind of speculation. The cashback option can also be activated.
