Miner is the “functional prototype” of ETIOCA’s electric taxi with interchangeable batteries that responds to the real needs of users in the sector
The ETIOCA Taxi Miner is the first project of the ETIOCA ecosystem, an innovative initiative launched five years ago by Mark Ishakov, Israeli entrepreneur and inventor, and Roberto Fiorello, as CEO of the company.
It is the response of these entrepreneurs to “the needs of the taxi sector and urban mobility trends”.
ETIOCA’s electric taxi with subscription-swappable batteries
It is a vehicle designed for taxi drivers and transferred for their use, without the need for advance payments, and with daily electrical charging (battery exchange), daily vehicle washing, insurance, and ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
“The ETIOCA Miner is aimed at a new generation of taxi drivers who are no longer obliged to buy a car, but can have it for their use”, they explain from the brand”.
With 350 km of autonomy, one of the great innovations of the ETIOCA electric taxi is the price.
The company has provided different use packages, among which is the rate of 0.36 cents per kilometer for the use of the vehicle transferred in use; to more extensive packages that include additional services, such as battery change, daily vehicle washing, insurance, maintenance and replacement of the vehicle in case of breakdown.

The goal is that by the end of 2024 there will be 10,000 ETIOCA Miner taxis in circulation. The annual production in 2025 will be 45,000 units, and will reach 100,000 units per year in 2027, with an initial investment of 400 million dollars to reach 1,200 million in the next 3 years.
Pre-reservations for 100 euros
To shape the project, in ETIOCA they have spoken at length with taxi drivers to find out their demands.
They say that during these meetings many fundamental points of analysis arose, such as the safety of drivers and passengers, the possibility of recharging by exchanging batteries or autonomy. Currently, taxi drivers have the possibility of filling out an online pre-reservation form, where they can register with a payment of 100 euros. “This amount makes it possible to manage the feasibility of the order and is returned to future drivers on the ETIOCA debit card the same day the vehicle is delivered, starting in 2024,” they point out.
ETIOCA ECO Cryptocurrency
Taxi drivers who make the pre-reservation will be registered in the ETIOCA application, which will reduce customer waiting times through geolocation and enter the network of users of the ETIOCA application, who will be able to use the ETIOCA ECO cryptocurrency (1 ECO equals 1 km of travel).
Through this integrated system, each taxi driver will have the opportunity to receive a cash return as a reward for having contributed to “mining” each new ETIOCA digital currency.
The company calculates that the ETIOCA Fintech and Media system will allow the taxi driver to increase their current billing by 20%.
