Etioca Miner: the prototype of a seven-seater electric multiservice taxi

Etioca presents its first electric prototype that will be developed by the skilled hands of Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro. The arrival on the market is scheduled for 2024

Driving the future of mobility. This is the goal of Etioca, an international company based in Gibraltar, founded in 2015 by the Israeli Mark Ishakov and Roberto Fiorello. In a short time, a commercial vehicle ecosystem with a wide range of services was created. The first Etioca prototype is called Miner and is a seven-seater electric taxi arriving by 2024.

Etioca’s business model
Etioca does not want to establish itself as a manufacturer, but has a varied business model.In fact, its ecosystem includes six integrated and autonomous sectors: design, industrial center, services, users, Fintech and Media, representing a solid basis on which the strategic plan that creates economic and financial value.

What is Miner
Just two months after the presentation of the “Style Model”, the first electric prototype of a traveling vehicle called Miner, designed and built in the Coggiola workshops, is unveiled. This is a revolutionary multiservice electric taxi, with a futuristic design aimed at interpreting sustainable mobility processes. Etioca Miner is aimed at a new generation of taxi driver entrepreneurs who no longer have to buy the car but get it in use from Etioca; in fact, drivers can use the vehicle and all the services at 0.99 euro cents / km, the average European cost per kilometer. The taxi prototype has seven modular seats, plus one for disabled passengers who will be able to board without assistance but by means of an automatic lifting platform. Miner allows the convenient transport of oversized leisure items such as bicycles, skis and snowboards. The driver’s seat is isolated, fully equipped and guarantees safety and security. In addition, prompt assistance is provided for cleaning and recharging the vehicle through the rapid change of the battery (battery swapping) in dedicated stations.

The presence of the Giugiaro in the project
The extraordinary expertise of Giorgetto Giugiaro, designer of the Century, together with Fabrizio Giugiaro (son of Giorgetto), with over 30 years in car design, will be available to the Etioca world by offering their know-how and their extraordinary competence in the development of a new mobility architecture, starting from the concept already implemented by Etioca. Together they intend to create a specific research and development center capable of developing the design until it is put into production.
Miner will be the first born of the “Anna” generation, a platform based on a modular architecture that allows different vehicle configurations. In the near future, “Anna” will give life to a new range of service vehicles: taxis, work vehicles, school shuttle, emergency vehicles, security (firefighters and police) and means of defense. The Etioca industrial center will be built in different locations and foresees a pilot plant (in the coming months there will be the final choice), an assembly plant, a production plant, a Giga Factory around which the suppliers’ plants will also be built.

Etioca: an ecosystem of services and more

Among the services offered by Etioca there is a complete range to improve the travel experiences of drivers and passengers: electric charging stations (battery swap), car wash stations, on-board food and beverage sales, after-sales assistance.

Thousands of Etioca Taxis around the world will also represent a new me channel dia outdoor. Integrated LED screens will project advertising and institutional campaigns or public service messages for citizens. The new media channel will be managed internally after the recent acquisition by Etioca of Between Comunicazione, a public relations and advertising agency based in Turin, specialized for over 20 years in corporate and product communication. It is part of Etioca che Fintech, the financial platform that allows, among the various financial services, the cryptocurrency mining process. The Etioca coin is generated by every km actually traveled on the road.

Always On Users

Etioca users can be constantly connected to the ecosystem through the dedicated app that allows passengers to book short and long-haul trips. Furthermore, on the drivers side, this informs about bookings and allows them to supervise the work traffic. A tool that allows taxi drivers to concentrate on their work without other stress and to make as many trips as possible per day. The drivers of Etioca, with the revenues from races, on-board services and advertising panels, can increase their turnover.

About 90 thousand pre-orders under discussion

The first 10 thousand Etioca Taxis will be in circulation by the end of 2024. Annual production in 2025 will be 45,000 units and will reach 100,000 units per year in 2027 with an initial investment of $ 400 million to reach $ 1.2 billion over the next 3 years.
90,000 pre-orders are under discussion between Italy, Israel, Latvia and to speed up production times an agreement with an Italian strategic partner for the use of a production plant is at an advanced stage of negotiation.
The pre-order form is available on the website. Taxi drivers can register with a simple transaction of 100 euros. This amount allows you to manage the feasibility of the order and will be returned to future drivers on the Etioca debit card, on the same day as the delivery of the vehicle starting in 2024. The Etioca project has an ethical purpose to support a project for children from all over the world living in disadvantaged conditions in collaboration with the Israeli Keren Hayesod Foundation. 10% of Etioca Holding’s net profits will be donated to the project to contribute to their cultural formation.
