It is an electric prototype that aims to be ready by 2024. Here, all its characteristics.

Etioca is a Gibraltar-based firm that embraces the pillars of the circular economy, digital innovation and sustainability to offer mobility solutions that care for the environment and improve the quality of life of future generations.
One of his first proposals is an electric taxi that has just been presented in Barcelona, which is aimed at “a new generation of business-taxi drivers who are no longer obliged to buy a car, but can have it for their own use” .
interchangeable batteries
This very peculiar taxi is based on a modular platform called “Anna”, which allows different configurations of vehicles such as ambulances, emergency, security and defense or last mile.
For now it is a prototype, although the company’s idea is to deliver the first units by 2024, equipped with integrated dynamic panels that will project different advertising campaigns or messages for citizens.
“Milner”, as this vehicle is called, is configured with seven modular seats for passengers, as well as one for users with reduced mobility.
One of its main characteristics is that the driver’s position is completely isolated from the rest of the taxi, guaranteeing “high levels of security and protection”.
Another is found in its batteries, since they can be exchanged quickly at specific stations, guaranteeing a range of up to 350 kilometers thanks to its 100 kWh capacity.
Nor can we forget its ability to comfortably transport large leisure objects, such as bicycles, skis and snowboards, not even its extensive services on board, including a minibar, a shop, digital management screens of services, chargers for smartphones and a map in real time.
In charge of the propulsion are a single electric motor that develops a total of 163 horsepower, driving the “Milner” up to 150 km / h.
By the way, this taxi has dimensions of 4.95 meters long by 1.95 wide and 2.01 high, with a wheelbase of 3.5 m. The company says that the total weight of the assembly is around two tons and that, thanks to its low center of gravity, “it boasts a comfortable ride and safe behavior on the road.”

Ready by the end of 2024
Currently, Etioca has received a total of 90,000 preserves between Italy, Israel, Latvia and Spain, with a production that is still unknown where it will take place, although the entity is in an advanced stage of negotiations with an “Italian strategic partner” that allow them to use your manufacturing facility.
The plan involves launching 10,000 units on the streets by the end of 2024, out of the 100,000 planned for 2027, with an investment of 1,200 million over the next three years.
“We intend to guide cultural and social change towards sustainable mobility, offering solutions that protect the environment and increase the quality of life of future generations”, it is detailed.
“The Etioca ecosystem has the basis to guide the transition towards electric mobility that is at the service of the urban communities of the future, which aspire to reduce emissions and traffic in cities, introducing sustainable, functional and shared vehicles”, says Mark Ishakov, founder of Etioca, as reported by Car and Driver.
