The taxi of the future is here: it carries up to 7 passengers, is electric and “speaks” Italian.

The first deliveries of the vehicles will arrive in 2024 ... Here are the first images.

A real revolution. Which starts from Italy. Or rather, from an English company that has chosen the boot as its base ... Sector? Mobility which is currently very lively. So, we are talking about 2024, the taxis of the future of Etioca, the Miners, the electric vehicles that the taxi drivers of tomorrow will not have to buy but use with a fee of 0.99 cents per kilometer. The taxi of the future is here: it carries up to 7 passengers, is electric and “speaks” Italian.

A van with decidedly square shapes. Almost 5 meters long, 4.95. 1.95 wide, 2.10 high. These are the measures of the Etioca Taxi, the taxi of the future, arriving as early as 2024, a vehicle entirely designed to make the most of the space capable of accommodating up to 7 passengers while the driver can drive in a comfortable and safe way, isolated from the rest. of the passenger compartment.

Inside it will be a riot of technology: digital screens, maps, minibars, and then the user experience will also be “dominated” by the smart philosophy. To book a ride, the dedicated app will be used, through which it will also be possible to request a particular seating arrangement. In short, what the English Etioca company has decided to develop in Italy (the first batch will be produced here by us) is a real revolution in mobility.

Also because the vehicles, the taxi drivers of the future, will not have to buy them. Just pay a fee of 0.99 cents per kilometer traveled. There are currently 90,000 pre-orders in Italy, Israel and Latvia. By the end of 2024, about 10 thousand will already be circulating on our roads. The style will also bear the Italian signature. In fact, Etioca has announced that it will make use of the collaboration of designers Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro.
