From the first concept, the vehicle was drawn as part of an energy system, with a roof solar panel and a swappable battery.
Climate impact comes from fewer empty miles and cleaner miles, not from offsets. ETIOCA builds it into how every car is designed, dispatched and kept in service.
A range-extended electric vehicle that drives most urban trips in electric mode, quietly through the city centre; the range extender is used on longer journeys.
Every trip is dispatched to the nearest available ETIOCA car, and each car is shared by three shifts for up to 20 hours a day: designed for less empty driving and less congestion for the same or better service.
Around every vehicle we build the services that keep it moving: maintain, repair, refurbish, redeploy and recover, so that a vehicle does not have only one life.
The cleaner economy should also become a more circular one. ETIOCA is designed as a long-life physical core with an upgradeable digital edge: short-life electronics should not decide the life of long-life infrastructure.
A professional fleet creates steady, predictable energy demand. ETIOCA plans its own charging and battery-swap stations, and charging that can respond to price, renewable availability and the carbon intensity of the grid, so that environmental information shapes everyday operating decisions.

From the first concept, the vehicle was drawn as part of an energy system, with a roof solar panel and a swappable battery.

The prototype on public roads: built to drive, not only to be shown.
Sustainability is also human. ETIOCA plans automatic disinfection of the cabin after every trip, step-free access for wheelchair users, drivers employed with a guaranteed wage, and a share of every car's results going to children. Cleaner streets, safer journeys and good jobs belong to the same system.

Every environmental claim should be testable. ETIOCA will publish carbon figures only once a certified methodology is in place, measured per passenger-kilometre of real service; carbon credits are a potential, subject to certification. Evidence is stronger than slogans.
